Firefox Change Audio Output
Firefox Change Audio Output On Windows 10
I recently downloaded voicemeeter banana to manage my sounds from discord/microphone/music when I stream on OBS, and ever since I did that, sound on Firefox videos doesn't play.It works perfectly however on both Edge and Chrome. My first theory is that I think this happens because Firefox is still set to 'speakers' as the default output whereas the entirety of every other programs I use moved on to 'what is set to default on your OS',.My second theory has to do with the sound driver. When I downloaded the virtual cable and voicemeeter, they both took over my very basic sound drivers, so perhaps there's an incompatibility there? But even if that's the case, is there a work around? Preferably I'd like to keep using voicemeeter without having to switch to Chrome.I spent several hours trying to solve this by myself by looking on google/reddit/support boards, but it seems no one has the same specific issue I have. Thanks in advance for the help:) ♥Solution: Downloading Eartrumpet and manually setting Firefox to cable output worked.
Hi,I have been watching a few streaming videos recently using the DivX Web Player on Vista 64-bit. It works perfectly with FireFox. However, I have an annoying problem I can't find a solution for. When I watch streaming videos, it's usually late at night and the kiddos are in bed, so I have to use headphones. If I launch FF and the default audio Playback device is set to speakers, then the only way I have found to change to headphones is to close FF, open the Sound control panel applet, change my default device to my USB headphones, relaunch FF, go back to the streaming site, and start the divx stream again. As an example of what I am looking for, I run most of my media via J.River Media Center (MC12). They have an excellent feature called Zone Manager which allows me to configure as many output devices as I like. If I start the program and I am in the wrong zone, I hit CTRL + T to flip to the next zone.
- Feb 03, 2014 Is there a way to change flash players audio output device? If not, is there a swf player who has this possibility? Change flash player audio output device. This is a new Firefox addon waiting to be reviewed developed by a friend of mine.
- Changing default audio player in firefox for ebcasts how? I would like to change the audio player for firefox. There some sites that provide audio stream, but they refuse to play it, deu the fact that they wil work in realplayer, and i do NOT want to install realplayer with all the leaks it has:) i want to change the player for it.
Currently there's no way to change audio output device at all. When Firefox is launched it will use Windows default audio device and it's not possible to later change it to other. And worse is that seems #519828 isn't fixed, atleast it doesn't work for me.
Firefox Sound
That changes my audio device and the music comes out of my USB headphones. I don't have to restart MC12.Does anyone know if there is an Add-On or some way I could configure FireFox to easily do the same thing, and change my audio output device without having to go through the procedure detailed above? Thanks,TH.
