Star Wars Battlefront 2 Review
Droidekas are a Separatist reinforcement that come armed with heavy high-rate twin blasters and a protective shield, although the latter comes at the expense of firepower and mobility when in use. The droideka is slow when moving on three legs, but it can roll into a ball to move more rapidly to a new position. Meanwhile, the TX-130 can fire rockets individually from both sides, or fire from both sides at once for a heavier attack. Anakin Skywalker will get a new General Skywalker appearance based on the early days of the Clone Wars. The 212th Recon Division and 41st Scout Battalion will be new appearances for the Clone army.Everything included in this month's update will arrive on June 26th. The video also gave a glimpse of future content arriving after June's update, including a new planet and new ways to play the game, but we don't know when that content will be arriving. We've got the full list of - check the list for guides to unlocking them.Check out our article for a compilation of other great games in this genre.

It’s finally coming. After months of pestering, we’re finally getting the droideka for Star Wars Battlefront II.
We don’t have a look yet on how the new reinforcement will play out in the game, but EA Star Wars community manager Charlemagne has confirmed that it will be one tank of a unit. This is his post on Twitter:“Will the Droideka get ragdolled from push/pull/etc. Abilities or Retribution in?”Nope!
It’s a very tanky unit so it’ll get staggered and damaged from abilities like that, but it’ll be able to hold its ground. Think carefully before you face one down. — Jay Ingram (Charlemagne) (@JayKingIngram)I guess it’s only fitting that the Droideka would be tough since the Republic unit to counter it is a freakin’ tank. Of course, the Droideka still has a lot of its own perks like a blast shield and superior mobility, but hopefully, the devs will find a good balance when the unit becomes live.Even if it still has some problems, we should expect further tweaks down the line. Even until now, Anakin is still getting some balance changes to make him play better. Need I forget the game took until now to fix Maul’s lightsaber throw? With the Droideka arriving this month, there’s a lot more to be excited for Battlefront in the coming months. The Felucia update is likely to arrive in August, and I have a feeling by then we would have a reveal for a new playable hero—likely Ahsoka and maybe Asajj Ventress. The new updates are expected to come to the game by June 26.
