English Civil War is a mod for Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword, created by DavB. Description: ECWAlpha7 is a sandbox version of WFaS starting 10th September 1642 and set in the three kingdoms of England, Scotland & Ireland. May 31, 2012 I agree, in fact, I am looking for a diplomacy mod for Fire and Sword. However, the ultimate mods remain the Sword of Damocles series for their depth, and if that could be ported to Fire and Steel, it'd take the game to a whole new level.

The combat system is a disaster, you have your character, and an enemy standing in front, and thats it. The entire world seem to be caricature. 
Just like in plenty of F2P MMORPGs, you get to choose skills, you dont attact, you press 1/2/3 etc.

Presbyterian covenanters have thrown King Charles and his bishops out of Scotland, occupying northern England. Catholic confederates have retaken much of Ireland. Parliament has ejected the king from his capital, London, and is raising England's trained bands to defend its constitutional rights and the protestant reformation. Each set of rebels claims loyalty to his majesty while taking up arms against him. The king has raised his battle standard in Nottingham and moved his court to Oxford.
